Meghan Aftosmis is a freelance travel writer based in New York City. She left her job at CosmoGIRL! to travel Italy and The Netherlands for the summer. Prior to that she worked at the National Geographic Society in Washington, DC, for four years. She has also lived and traveled in Spain, France, Romania, New Zealand, and Peru.
